Wharf began life over 25 years ago.

Our founder, Trevor Baker, is a time served cabinet maker. He created a bespoke kitchen company in his home town of Midhurst, West Sussex.

The workshop was based in the old canal basin area of the town, known locally as The Wharf….and that’s where our name came from! During the 2000`s, Trevor introduced and perfected the skills of producing very high quality seamless worktops. These beautiful worktops soon became the sole product of Wharf.

With a policy of continuous investment in staff training and state of the art machinery, the business gradually outgrew the workshop and in 2008 moved to the current factory in Trotton, on the Sussex/Hampshire border.

Our dedicated Wharf team, including many long serving members of staff, has built a hard won reputation for first rate product innovation, quality and reliability. Our attention to detail from the initial design and manufacturing to installation is supported by our superb after-sales service.

As a result, Wharf has grown to become the UK`s leading independent seamless worktop manufacturer.
